A busy fall, Andy Grammer, and marketing fun!

By Hayley Cammarata

Yes, it has been a REALLY long time since we last posted. I know I know, we promised cutting edge information about marketing and music and technology and have not delivered but we have good reasons…

We have been so busy bringing on amazing new clients like the iconic Donna Summer and digital e-book publishers, New Word City who are part of Starbucks Digital Network launch. We are also so excited to be working with rising star Kerli, who will have an album out in 2011 and has an amazing message to share through her music. It has been a really fun project and we can not wait to see how much you love this new record. Needless to say, we are being kept VERY busy and could not be happier.

I decided to post this because our good friend Andy Grammer, alongside his management team and label team, (S-Curve Records) are doing such an amazing job marketing this new talent and we really wanted to give them a shout-out on a job well done. Andy has one of the first EVER interactive music videos for his single “Keep Your Head Up” which premiered today on VEVO Not only is the song amazing, but you can chose how the video plays out…again and again and again and then share it with your friends! We have yet to get the same video twice and there were even some very funny cameos by The Office’s Rainn Wilson! It has been compared to such viral videos as the new Arcade Fire video and even OK Go’s tredmill video While we LOVE those videos and are so impressed with the ideas behind them, we think Andy’s video takes it to a new level!

We are so impressed by the marketing plans implemented around this hit song and can not wait to see Andy take off!

Stay tuned for more things that catch our attention and for guest bloggers…coming soon!

Until then, enjoy the fall! (I am still not used to the lack of foliage here in CA…but I love the beach!)

Welcome to our site…

By Hayley Cammarata

If you are reading this, we have officially launched our new website for Mutt Marketing and could not be more excited!

Ben and I have been working on the concept of Mutt Marketing for many years and are thrilled to hit the ground running :) You can read about who we are as individuals on the About page, but I love having this blog section for us to communicate with you guys on a more personal level.

While this site is primarily meant for you to learn about what we do and who we work with here at Mutt Marketing, we will also be using this as an editorial outlet and will reach out to as many guest bloggers as possible. I know that I will be reaching out to all of my accomplished and intelligent friends and colleagues, for their insightful views on the concept of…well…marketing.
